From first brief to match day
How a Divley club uniform order actually works, stage by stage.
Most committees are volunteers doing this around work and family. This page sets out exactly what happens at each stage, what we need from you, and what we take care of, so there are no surprises between your first enquiry and match day.
The seven stages of a club order
Share your brief
You tell us the basics: your club, which teams need kit, rough numbers, your colours, and the date you need everything in players’ hands.
Club and sport, teams and rough player numbers, colours, required date, any existing artwork.
Confirm we can meet your date and flag anything that needs an early decision.
Range and quote
We recommend the right garments for each group in your club and send a single quote your committee can review and approve together.
Confirmation of which garments and groups are in scope, and your budget if you have one.
Recommend garments, provide pricing by item, and confirm minimums and lead times in writing.
Design and artwork
Our designers create your concept free of charge. You see how your colours, logo and sponsors will actually look on each garment before you commit.
Club logo and sponsor artwork, colour references, and any design direction or inspiration.
Produce design concepts, redraw artwork where needed, and revise until your committee is happy.
Sizes and rosters
This is the stage that derails most club orders. We give you the tools so it does not become a month of chasing players.
A completed roster: player names, numbers and sizes, using the template we send.
Supply size guides and the roster template, and answer sizing questions from your team managers.
Final approval
Nothing goes to production until you have signed off in writing. This is the last point at which changes can be made without affecting cost or timing.
Written sign-off on the final artwork and the completed size sheet.
Send the final proof and size sheet for approval, and confirm the production and delivery schedule.
Production and quality checks
Your order is manufactured to the approved artwork and size sheet, and checked before it ships.
Nothing at this stage, other than telling us if a delivery detail changes.
Manufacture, check the run against the approved proof and size sheet, and keep you updated on progress.
Delivery and reorders
Kit arrives ready to hand out, and your specifications stay on file so later top-ups match the original run.
A delivery address and a contact who can receive the order.
Deliver, and keep your designs and specs on file so mid-season reorders match what everyone else is wearing.
Before you start: the committee checklist
Having these ready when you first contact us is the single biggest thing that keeps a club order on schedule.
- Artwork. Your club logo, ideally as a vector file (AI, EPS or PDF). A high-resolution image works too, and we can redraw where needed.
- Sponsors. A list of sponsors, their logos, and written confirmation from each about how their logo may be used.
- Colours. Any Pantone or colour references from your brand guide or previous supplier.
- Roster. Team lists with player names, numbers and sizes, in one place rather than across several people.
- Delivery. The address, the person receiving it, and the real date you need kit in hand, not the date of the first game.
- Decision-maker. Who on the committee gives final sign-off, so approvals do not stall.
Changes, and what happens if something is not right
Before final approval, changes to design, sponsors, sizes and quantities are straightforward and we expect them. That is what the approval stage is for.
After final approval, your order is in production against the artwork and size sheet you signed off, so changes at that point may affect cost and delivery timing. We will always tell you the impact before actioning anything.
If something arrives that does not match what you approved, contact us as soon as you notice and we will work through it with you. Check your delivery against the approved size sheet when it arrives rather than at the first game, so there is time to sort out anything unexpected.
